A fan feedback driven episode. A message from the pulpit from a heathen. I talk about the tension that exist between Hispanic and Non-Hispanic Black women and issues of identity. Learn the how-to’s of pitching ideas to the show and the upcoming book club. I want to do more interviews so any donations you can send for equipment would go a long way.
Email ideas for the show to firstname.lastname@example.org. Here are some jumping off points of things to send:
-Topics about Black women and how we are portrayed in media or society in general.
-Suggestions of a TV show, movie or live event for me to review. Things that will help get this picked are:
- It’s streaming on Netflix
- It’s streaming on Hulu premium, but not Showtime.
-It is in theaters
-It is a live event like an awards show and you let me know the network, date, and time.
I am looking for suggestions for The Black Chick Watching Book Club. See the 6 points below before suggesting.
1. It must be written by a Black woman.
2. It must have Black women in it.
3. It can be any genre.
4. It must come in an audio format too (there is no exception to this rule at all).
5. Why should I pick it? Tell me in 3 sentences or less.
6. Deadline April 15, 2016
